LashFood Review - LashFood Versus Latisse & Revitalash For Stronger, Thicker, and Longer Eyelashes

Growing longer and healthier eyelashes are all the rage right now. Products like Revitalash and Latisse hit the market - and the salons went wild offering their clients various ways to grow longer, thicker eyelashes in the matter of a few weeks.

Now, there are several brands on the market. At EyeQBeauty, we sell LashFood to professionals in the beauty and salon industry, because we truly believe, after our own testing and trials - that LashFood is the best product, for the price, and because it's a natural product - for salon professionals to offer their clients.

Certainly there are pros and cons to all brands, and some people have very sensitive skin and do not respond well to putting anything on their eyelids. Many would find applying any eyelash conditioner or eyelash growth formula irritating, since it is applied so close to the eye itself.

Do eyelash conditioners and eyelash growth formulas work?  Most of them, you will find - do work. All need to be used the recommended duration for maximum results, and also used consistently. A huge number of patients and customers using products such as LashFood, Revitalash, and Latisse - are finding that their lashes ARE in fact, longer and thicker.

What are the pros and cons to each brand?

We have found that the very good results came with Latisse, but at a price. Most users reported that their lashes were stronger and thicker, but they were required to visit a physician - and receive a prescription for this product (produced by Allergan) and the product is still expensive (+120.00). Latisse comes with warning of a serious side effect -  eye color change. It is reported that Latisse could possibly cause your eye color to change to brown with prolonged use. The problem with this, is that these products have to be used, as mentioned above - consistently and religiously - daily - to be effective.

With Revitalash, the results were good, too - but perhaps a bit more inconsistent. We love the story behind Revitalash, and how the product came to be. And there's no doubt that many have grown longer lashes using it, and that the company is a true pioneer in the lash-growth world. But again, the results were not always positive - in fact, many of our testers and even reviews online indicated that there was little change in one's eyelashes, even after several weeks of use. On the other hand, many who have tried Revitalash in the beginning, are stuck to it and very loyal to the brand. Revitalash typically retails for around +$130, (even up to $150!) and can be purchased in a salon without a prescription (that's a pro!).

What we loved about LashFood was the fact that the formula is all-natural. The other pro, it's less-expensive (Around $80) than the major competitors. The best part - it WORKS. Our testers reported longer, shiner lashes within 2-3 weeks of use - with zero or very little irritation. LashFood also offers a eyelash growth mascara - and when used in conjunction with the conditioner - LOOK out.  There is also a LashFood formula for eyebrows. For natural formula, cost, and results - we're hooked on LashFood.

  1. You greatly compared the two brand. This way, you will not just be risking yourself to some side effects.

  3. Personally, I don't know the differences, because I've only followed a Toronto Latisse treatment and which proved to be something really useful! I'm so happy for my results and I recommend this one! About others I don't know! :)
