We get a lot of questions about LashFood from people who have either never heard of it or have heard of it but want a little more information before taking the plunge. Of course, LashFood has been a celebrity favorite for some time. (as wth Neicy Nash, pictured left) We figured these questions would best be answered by people who invented LashFood. Read on for answers to all your burning questions…

What is LashFood?

LashFood is a 24-hour day & night, eyelash conditioning system to provide you with longer, darker, and thicker lashes naturally. The brand's eyelash conditioners are a drug-free, natural cosmetic alternative for those with not enough eyelashes. LashFood is safe and effective and no prescription is required.

How do the ingredients in LashFood make my lashes grow?

Uniquely formulated by cosmetic scientists, the breakthrough natural formula is clinically proven to provide longer, thicker lashes and to transform frail and brittle lashes to become healthy and strong. The 24-Hour LashFood Eyelash Conditioning System delivers at the cellular level to feed lashes with nature's most powerful ingredients.

How do I apply LashFood?

Brush LashFood onto the root of clean lashes in the same manner of applying eyeliner while avoiding the eye area. Apply once or twice a day, every morning and evening. Make-up can be applied as usual afterwards.

How long will it take before I start seeing results with LashFood?

Results will vary with each individual. However, noticeable results will be apparent within 4-8 weeks. Lashes will start to appear darker and thicker with increased length. Full results can be expected within 2-3 months.

Are LashFood Eyelash Conditioners irritating?

LashFood Eyelash Conditioners were developed without any irritants. There have not been reports of irritation, redness or swelling even for those with extremely sensitive skin and contact lens wearers.

Can LashFood be used with eyelash extensions?

LashFood eyelash conditioners are natural and water based products that were designed for use with natural lashes as well as those with eyelash extensions. Use of LashFood conditioners will help strengthen lashes and in result prolong life of bond between natural lashes and extensions.

How long does one tube of LashFood last?

If used twice a day, each bottle will last approximately 3-5 months.

Can LashFood be used on pregnant or nursing women?

As a precaution, we do not recommend use for pregnant or nursing women.

Are there any allergic reactions?

As with any cosmetics, some individuals may be allergic to one or more components of the product. If you know that you are allergic to any of the ingredients or you suspect that you may be allergic to any of the ingredients, do not use the product and consult a doctor.

What is the guarantee?

We are so confident in our product that we offer a 60 day money back guarantee, minus the cost of shipping & handling.

Create Eyes That POP

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. – Audrey Hepburn

Great advice - but for those looking to take it a step further there are several elements to focus on when doing eye makeup.

Eyeliner:

1. If you want to make your eyes pop try eyeliner on the inside, and smudge shadow on the bottom inside. If you wear the liner on the inside by itself, it can look a little harsh but by adding the liner on the waterline, this can make the whites of your eyes stand out, and it looks great in pictures too.

2. For eyeliner on the bottom: If you have really small eyes, don’t line on the inside (the waterline). This will only close them off. Instead, try eyeliner using pencil or eye shadow just on the outer corner of the eye smudged into the lashes. Stay soft of the bottom, and stay away from harsh lines.

3. If you have small lids, (meaning the space right above your eyelashes) don’t use a thick eyeliner. This will only close the lid, and take away from the contour of the eye.

4. Do use thin eyeliner on top. Try using an angle brush with eye shadow to “tight line” or a gel eyeliner. You can use black or dark colors, but just remember to keep the line thin and not thick.

Highlighting and concealing:

Pay special attention to the inner corners of the eyes by the bridge of the nose since it can get dark, red or grey, making you look tired. Use concealer for this area and to take away the dark circles that start by the bridge of the nose.

1. Try using peach based concealers to brighten dark circles.
2. Don’t forget to highlight by the tear duct. Take a little shimmer, or pearl shadow that is a couple shades lighter than your skin tone. Apply by the tear duct and blend into the bottom and top lash line.

Eyelashes:

If you have a little extra time, lash extensions are always no brainers for bigger eyes. A full strip lash is great for a dramatic look, but for something more subtle (and easier to apply on yourself) a half pair, or demi size to fit on the outer corner, gives the eye more lift and instant definition. Of course, you could go the all-natural route we suggested in March but in the meantime here are a few tips for lash application:

1. Use quality products. The term ‘you get what you pay for’ comes to mind!
2. Apply your eye makeup first, including mascara.
3. After apply the lash adhesive, allow it to dry for just a few moments to become tacky before applying.
4. Rest false eyelashes on your own natural lashes, and push them to your eyelid. This may be easier than  trying to attach them directly to your eyelid.

We hope these little tips inspire you to go glam on your next night out. Have a tip to share? Tell us in the comments below!

Top 10 Tweezer Selection Tips

What exactly makes a "good" pair of tweezers? Aren't they all the same? As it turns out, they're not.

The $5 variety you can buy at the grocery store may be perfectly serviceable, but you’ll be happier long term if you invest in a great set of tweezers.

An array of tweezers -- varying greatly in quality and cost -- is available if you take the time to look.

1. You need more than one pair of tweezers. Shoot for at least three types used for different purposes.
  • Very fine, pointy-ended for detailed brow sculpting when you need to pluck single hairs.
  • A precision tip tweezer with slightly large sharp ends for removing deep rooted hairs.
  • Large ended, slanted tip tweezers for removing numerous hairs quickly.
2. Tweezers should be made of a high quality metal, such as stainless steel, that will not become blunt quickly or be prone to rust.

3. Tweezers with non-slip grips for your fingers allow for easier maneuverability which is especially
important when working near the eyes.

4. Avoid tweezers that are large or clumsy.

5. Consider tweezers with scissor-style handles for even easier tweezing. In fact, they are ideal for people with weak hands or painful joints.

6. Titanium or gold plated tweezers are considered to be the best however stainless still is also regarded as good quality. Price is usually a good indicator of quality.

7. Choose tweezers which are sturdy and do not bend or bow during handling prior to purchase. Stay away from plastic.

8. Be sure to purchase a case or box which allows for secure storage. Tweezers knocking together can become blunt.

9. It’s handy to bring the mirror you will use for tweezing with you to purchase tweezers as this will help you determine the perfect length you need.

10. Many tweezers offer texture inside the tips which can make gripping and pulling tiny hairs easier.

EyeQBeauty is proud to offer Tweezex brand premium tweezers made in Solingen-Germany.  They;re the brand of choice for beauty professionals and salon retail stores worldwide. And, we offer free shipping on orders over $100.
